Introduction

The Supporting Cast Behind Every Glass Line

Beyond cutting, edging, tempering, and lamination, every modern glass processing plant depends on a suite of supporting machines — heat-soak testing furnaces that guarantee safety glass is truly safe, EVA laminating machines that bond glass into acoustic and ballistic security panels, sandblasting machines that create the frosted and decorative finishes in demand across architecture and interiors, and water treatment systems that keep process water clean, recycled, and compliant with discharge regulations. Hanwin Glass Technology engineers each of these machines with the same precision, automation, and energy-conscious design that defines our entire product range, so your whole line performs as one system.

01

Safety Without Compromise

Heat-soak furnaces screen out nickel sulphide inclusions so tempered glass never fails spontaneously in service.

02

Finishes That Sell

Sandblasting and EVA lamination open up decorative, acoustic, and security glass markets for your factory.

03

Sustainability Built In

Closed-loop water treatment recycles up to 95%+ of process water, reducing costs and environmental footprint.

Heat Soak Test Furnace
Spontaneous Breakage Prevention. Nickel Sulphide Detection.
1

Heat Soak Test Furnace

The heat-soak test furnace heats tempered glass to 280–320°C and holds it for 2+ hours, forcing nickel sulphide inclusions to expand and break defective panels before they ever reach the building. Rated for glass up to 3300×12000mm and loads up to 8500 KG per cycle, with 4–6 independent heating zones holding ±5°C uniformity across the furnace.

01Holds tempered glass at 280–320°C for a programmable 2+ hour soak — the process defined by EN 12150 and ASTM C1048.
024–6 independent electric resistance (NiCr) heating zones maintain ±5°C uniformity, eliminating under-tested and over-tested glass.
03Loads up to 8500 KG per cycle of glass up to 3300×12000mm — full jumbo panels, tested in a single pass.
04PLC + 15" touchscreen HMI records a full thermal log for every batch — complete, verifiable documentation.

The EVA laminating machine bonds glass + EVA + glass stacks up to 2440×3660mm at 100–140°C with ±2°C uniformity, building 2.5+ layer laminates with 90%+ light transmission. Handles acoustic (STC 35–45 dB), decorative (fabric, paper, mesh inserts), and security (EN 1063 BR1–BR7) laminates in batches from a single panel to 500+.

01Laminates glass up to 2440×3660mm with 2–5 glass layers in a single 30–90 minute cycle.
02Electric resistance platens hold 100–140°C with ±2°C uniformity and −0.08 to −0.095 MPa vacuum for optical clarity.
03Acoustic laminates achieve STC 35–45 dB; security laminates reach BR1–BR7 under EN 1063 and UL 752.

Vertical / Horizontal Sandblasting Machine

The sandblasting machine processes glass 3–50mm thick in either vertical or horizontal orientation — a unique rotatable work chamber reconfigures the machine 90° to suit large architectural panels or small batches. Three automatic gantry-mounted guns, each with independent pressure (0.2–0.8 MPa), media flow, and traverse speed, deliver uniform frosted, etched, and anti-slip textures with an 85%+ media reuse rate.

01Rotatable work chamber processes in vertical (large panels, small footprint) or horizontal (small batches, gravity-assisted collection) orientation.
02Three independent automatic guns run at 0.2–0.8 MPa per gun with variable-speed motorized gantry traverse for uniform coverage.
03Cyclone recovery system separates usable media from dust, achieving 85%+ media reuse and minimizing waste.
04PLC stores 50+ blasting recipes — gun pressure, traverse speed, media type, and coverage density — for instant finish changeover.

Water Treatment Equipment

The water treatment system recycles process water from tempering, washing, edging, drilling, and sandblasting lines at 10/20/50/100 TPH — filtering to 0.1μm with multi-stage clarification to achieve 95%+ water recovery and zero liquid discharge. Automatic dewatering produces dry cake sludge, while real-time turbidity, pH, temperature, and conductivity monitoring keeps every loop compliant.

01Modular 10/20/50/100 TPH systems scale from a single line to a complete factory — up to 400,000+ m³ of freshwater saved per year.
02Multi-stage filtration down to 0.1μm removes glass fines, diamond dust, oil, and coating residue from every process stream.
03Closed-loop design recovers 95%+ of process water with an optional zero liquid discharge (ZLD) configuration.
04Automatic dewatering outputs dry cake sludge; PLC + 15" HMI monitors turbidity, pH, temperature, and conductivity in real time.
