Capabilities

95%+ Water Recovery. Zero Discharge.

Closed-loop treatment, modular expansion, real-time monitoring — eliminate freshwater costs and wastewater fees.

95%+ Water Recovery

Closed-loop recirculation recovers 95%+ of process water — dramatically reducing freshwater consumption and eliminating wastewater discharge costs. For a 50 TPH system, this saves approximately 400,000 m³ of freshwater per year (versus once-through discharge). The ROI on water savings alone typically justifies the system within 12–18 months.

Zero Liquid Discharge

The optional ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge) configuration adds RO membrane polishing and evaporation — achieving 100% water recovery with zero liquid discharge to sewer. All water is recirculated; all solids are captured as dry sludge cake. This eliminates all wastewater discharge permits, fees, and environmental compliance costs.

Modular Expansion

Start with a 10 TPH module and expand to 20, 50, or 100 TPH as production grows — without replacing the original equipment. Additional filter modules, pumps, and tanks are added in parallel. The PLC software auto-detects new modules and adjusts treatment parameters accordingly. This staged investment approach minimizes upfront capital expenditure.

Real-Time Water Quality Monitoring

Online sensors continuously measure turbidity, pH, temperature, conductivity, and flow rate — with real-time trending and data logging on the 15" HMI. Alarms trigger automatically if any parameter exceeds limits — and the PLC adjusts treatment (backwash, dosing, flow) to restore water quality. Remote monitoring via Ethernet/VPN enables off-site oversight.

Glass Cullet Recovery

The sludge dewatering system consolidates glass fines, particles, and cullet into a dry, handleable cake (80–90% dryness). This glass cullet can be recycled back into the glass manufacturing process — recovering raw material value while reducing waste disposal volume by 90%. The filter press operates automatically on a timed cycle.

316L Stainless Steel Wetted Parts

All wetted components — pumps, piping, valves, tanks, heat exchanger plates — are constructed from 316L stainless steel or equivalent corrosion-resistant materials. This ensures long service life in the abrasive, chemically active glass processing water environment — resisting corrosion, erosion, and chemical attack.

Applications

Built for Every Glass Process

Engineered for the toughest glass manufacturing wastewater — from tempering lines to waterjet cutting.

Convection Furnace Cooling
01

Tempering Line Water Recycling

Tempering furnaces use large volumes of water for convection fan cooling and quench cooling. This water picks up heat, glass dust, and coating residues. The Water Treatment system cools, filters, and recirculates this water — maintaining consistent quench quality while eliminating freshwater consumption.

Key Features
Continuous cooling water recirculationTemperature control via heat exchangerGlass particle filtration (<5μm)Consistent quench water temperature
Wash & Rinse Water Treatment
02

Glass Washing Water Recycling

Glass washing machines consume 3–10 m³/hr of water for pre-wash, main wash, and rinse cycles. The Water Treatment system treats this water — removing detergent, glass fines, and contaminants — and returns it to the washing machine. The activated carbon filter removes detergent residues for rinse-quality water.

Key Features
Detergent removal via activated carbonSpot-free rinse water qualityMulti-stage filtration for washingAutomated backwash and maintenance
Coolant Recovery
03

Edging & Drilling Water Recycling

Glass edging and drilling operations use water-based coolant to lubricate and cool diamond tooling. This coolant picks up glass fines, diamond particles, and tramp oils. The Water Treatment system separates oil, filters glass particles, and returns clean coolant to the edging/drilling stations.

Key Features
Coalescing oil-water separatorUltra-fine glass particle removal (<1μm)Coolant life extension (10x longer)Reduced diamond tool wear
Centralized Treatment System
04

Full Factory Water Management

A centralized Water Treatment system serves the entire glass factory — collecting wastewater from all processes (tempering, washing, edging, drilling, sandblasting) into a single treatment plant. This economies-of-scale approach provides the lowest cost per ton of treated water and simplifies factory water management.
