±5°C Uniformity
Four to six independent PID-controlled heating zones with forced-air cross-flow circulation ensure temperature uniformity of ±5°C across the entire furnace volume — from center to edges, from top rack to bottom. This uniformity is critical: any cold spot could allow NiS inclusions to survive the heat soak cycle.
Multi-Layer Rack System
Stainless steel multi-layer racks with adjustable ceramic stand-off pins accommodate 1–5 layers of glass per load — maximizing throughput within the furnace volume. Rack height adjusts automatically for glass thickness from 3–25mm. Ceramic pins prevent glass-to-glass contact and avoid surface marking.
Continuous Data Logging
Every thermal cycle is logged in real-time — 12–24 temperature monitoring points, zone temperatures, heating/cooling rates, holding duration, and alarm events. Data is archived for quality certification and can be exported for customer traceability. OPC-UA integration feeds directly into factory MES systems.
EN 12150 / ASTM C1048 Compliant
The furnace thermal profile and control system are designed to meet EN 12150, EN 1863, and ASTM C1048 standards for heat soak testing of fully tempered glass. The PLC stores pre-programmed standard profiles and prevents cycle start if parameters are outside specification.
Motorized Door & Interlocks
The vertically-lifting furnace door is motorized with high-temperature silicone gasket sealing. Door interlocks prevent opening during any cycle phase above 100°C — protecting operators from thermal exposure. The door operation is synchronized with the conveyor system for seamless load/unload sequences.
Energy-Efficient Insulation
200mm ceramic fiber blanket insulation with Class A rating reduces heat loss to below 5% at 350°C — significantly lowering energy consumption compared to refractory brick alternatives. The insulation reaches operating temperature faster, reducing pre-heat time and total cycle energy.

Inspect the furnace interior for damaged heating elements, loose thermocouple connections, or debris on the conveyor rollers. Check the door gasket for damage or wear. Verify all temperature readings are within normal range at start-up. Test the door interlock system. Inspect conveyor rollers for smooth rotation. Check the exhaust damper operation.
