EVA interlayer lamination — simpler, faster, and more energy-efficient than PVB autoclave systems.

No Autoclave Required

Unlike PVB lamination which requires an expensive, energy-intensive autoclave (high pressure + high temperature over many hours), EVA lamination occurs in a single-stage vacuum hot-press at 100–140°C. This eliminates the autoclave entirely — reducing capital cost by 40%, floor space by 50%, and energy consumption by 60% compared to PVB autoclave lines.

2.5+ Layer Capability

Processes simple 2-layer safety glass (glass + EVA + glass) through complex multi-layer assemblies (glass + EVA + glass + EVA + glass) — enabling bullet-resistant, acoustic, decorative, and specialty laminates. The 60mm maximum stack height accommodates thick assemblies with multiple interlayers.

±2°C Platen Uniformity

Four to six independent heating zones in the precision-ground aluminum platens maintain ±2°C temperature uniformity across the full 2600×3800mm surface. This uniformity is critical: uneven temperature causes inconsistent EVA cross-linking, resulting in bubbles, delamination, and optical defects.

Full Vacuum System

The rotary vane vacuum pump achieves –0.08 to –0.095 MPa inside the silicone bag — removing all air from the interlayer interfaces before heating. This prevents bubble formation, ensures complete interlayer wetting, and produces optically clear laminates. Vacuum is maintained throughout the heating and cooling cycle.

50+ Recipe Profiles

The PLC stores 50+ complete lamination profiles — each with programmable heating rate, temperature setpoint, holding time, cooling rate, vacuum pressure, and pressing force. Switch between glass types, interlayer thicknesses, and layer configurations with one-touch recipe recall. Full data logging for quality traceability.

EN 14449 / ASTM C1172

The lamination process and quality output meet EN 14449 (laminated glass), EN ISO 12543 (laminated glass components), and ASTM C1172 (laminated glass standard) — the international standards for safety laminated glass. Process parameters are pre-programmed for standard compliance.

Facade & Overhead Laminates

Laminated safety glass is mandatory for overhead, skylight, facade, and curtain wall applications where glass breakage poses a safety risk. The EVA interlayer holds fragments in place upon breakage, preventing dangerous shard dispersion. EVA's moisture resistance makes it ideal for exposed facade applications.

Vacuum bag care, platen cleaning, hydraulic service — keep your EVA laminator running at peak.

Inspect the silicone vacuum bag for tears, punctures, or permanent deformation. Check bag edges for seal integrity. Test vacuum pump operation — confirm –0.08 MPa minimum within 5 minutes. Inspect platen surfaces for scratches, EVA residue, or damage. Clean platen surfaces with approved solvent. Check hydraulic oil level and system pressure. Verify cooling water temperature and flow rate. Test all safety interlocks.
