Advantages

Why This Beveling Machine

Six features that deliver bright, mirror-like bevel finishes on every piece.

0–60mm Adjustable Bevel Width

The widest bevel width in its class — up to 60mm on the B model. Adjustable from narrow 3mm accent bevels to wide 60mm decorative bevels on mirrors, tabletops, and architectural panels. Width set via knob (manual) or HMI touchscreen (PLC).

11-Wheel Precision Grinding Sequence

A complete 11-wheel sequence: 3 coarse grind → 4 fine grind → 1 pencil edging → 3 felt polish — all in a single pass. The felt polishing wheels produce a bright, mirror-like bevel finish that is the hallmark of quality beveled glass.

Dual Water Tank System

Two independent water recirculation tanks — one for grinding coolant, one for polishing compound. This separation prevents glass particle contamination of the polishing slurry, ensuring consistent bright bevel finish quality throughout production.

Felt Polishing for Bright Finish

Three dedicated felt polishing wheels with pneumatic pressure control produce the bright, mirror-like bevel finish that decorative glass demands. The pneumatic feeding system maintains consistent polishing pressure across varying bevel widths.

20×20mm Minimum Glass Size

Processes glass pieces as small as 20×20mm (A/B models) — handling tiny mirror fragments, decorative tiles, and sample pieces that larger machines cannot process. The rear guide track beam adjusts automatically for small pieces.

PLC + HMI Full Parameter Control

Professional and Enterprise models feature PLC-controlled bevel angle, bevel width, and glass thickness adjustment via touchscreen HMI. All parameters displayed in real-time. Store preset profiles for instant job changeover.

0–60mm Adjustable Bevel Width

The widest bevel width in its class — narrow 3mm accent bevels to wide 60mm decorative bevels on mirrors, tabletops, and architectural panels. Width set via knob or HMI.

Applications

Where It Excels

From mirror bevels to architectural panels — one machine, every bevel need.

Mirrors & Frames

Bright Bevel Finish

Bathroom mirrors, dressing mirrors, and decorative mirror frames require bright, polished bevel edges that catch and reflect light. The beveling machine's 3 felt polishing wheels produce the mirror-like bevel finish that defines premium mirror products.

Maintenance

Keep It Beveling

Five essential maintenance practices to maximize bevel finish quality and wheel life.

Inspect all 3 felt polishing wheels for loading, glazing, or uneven wear. Check felt wheel condition and dress or replace as needed. Verify coolant concentration and polishing compound level in the dual tank system. Clean felt wheel surfaces with clean water at end of shift.

Drain and clean both water tanks — coolant tank and polishing tank. Flush all coolant lines and polishing compound delivery lines. Replace filter cartridges. Inspect water pump motors and nozzles for blockages. Refill with fresh coolant and polishing compound.

Verify bevel angle accuracy using a precision angle gauge at 5°, 15°, 30°, and 45° positions. If accuracy drifts beyond ±0.5°, recalibrate the angle adjustment mechanism. Check bevel width accuracy against HMI display on PLC models.

Inspect chain or bearing conveyor for wear, tension, and alignment. Check all spindle bearings for play or noise. Verify spindle alignment using a precision straightedge. Lubricate all linear guides and conveyor components.

Perform complete machine calibration using laser alignment tools. Verify bevel angle, bevel width, edge flatness, conveyor speed, and sensor alignment. Replace felt wheels, grinding wheels, and conveyor components as needed. Update PLC software. Full safety system test.

FAQ

Common Questions

Everything you need to know about the Vertical Beveling Machine.

Beveling creates a decorative angled edge (chamfer) on a single piece of glass — the angled surface catches light and adds visual depth. Mitering creates an angled edge specifically for joining two glass pieces at a corner. Beveling is decorative; mitering is structural.

The 371M model handles up to 35mm bevel width. The 371A handles up to 40mm (at bevel widths under 15mm). The 371B Enterprise model handles up to 60mm — the widest bevel width in its class. Bevel width is adjustable from 0mm to the maximum for each model.

The 371M and 371A models handle bevel angles from 3° to 30°. The 371B Enterprise model extends this to 2.5°–45° — covering the full range of decorative bevel applications from subtle accent bevels to dramatic wide-angle bevels.

The 3 felt polishing wheels (#9, #10, #11) apply cerium oxide polishing compound to the bevel surface. The dual water tank system keeps the polishing compound separate from grinding coolant, preventing contamination. The pneumatic feeding system maintains consistent polishing pressure for uniform bright finish.

The 371M model handles glass as small as 100×100mm. The 371A and 371B models can process glass pieces as small as 20×20mm — suitable for tiny mirror fragments, decorative tiles, and sample pieces. The rear guide track beam adjusts automatically for small pieces.
