HN-E CNC Glass Processing Center
The 4-in-1 CNC glass processing center engineered for automotive and appliance glass manufacturing — combines ultra-high processing speed with exceptional precision. Two linear motion axes plus a rotary motion axis drive a high-speed electric spindle, edging formed glass straight from the graphics file imported into the CNC system. Perfect for 1–6mm square and shaped glass, with straight-line, T-shape, and pencil grinding in a single setup. Model MGC-E-1308, edging tolerance ≤±0.1mm.
How It Works
Five stages from CNC graphics import to cooled, finished edge — straight-line, T-shape, and pencil grinding in one center.
Why This CNC Glass Processing Center
Six features that make the 4-in-1 center the choice for automotive and appliance glass.
4-in-1 CNC Glass Processing Center
Combines grinding, C-shape and T-shape edging, straight-line profiling, and pencil grinding in one CNC center — delivering the full formed-glass edge processing flow for automotive and appliance glass manufacturing.
2 Linear + 1 Rotary Motion Axis
Two linear motion axes and a rotary motion axis drive the high-speed electric spindle motor, following the imported graphics file precisely to edge formed glass with no graphics limit.
Freely Movable Vacuum Suction Cups
The vacuum suction cup is vacuum-fixed from the bottom of the worktable and can move freely without any tools — repositioning for different glass shapes takes seconds, not minutes.
Built-In Grinding Wheel Dresser
Restore the diamond grinding wheel after prolonged use with the wheel dresser to improve production efficiency and keep edge quality consistent piece after piece.
High-Flow Circulating Water Device
Grinding point cooled at over 100L/min with a circular waste water collector and powerful fan/aspirator through a sleeve-type pipe, storing cooled water in the intermediate tank for reuse.
Graphics Shared With the Cutting Part
The CNC graphics file is shared with the cutting part of the production line — cutting and edging stay perfectly matched, eliminating shape mismatch between processes.
4-in-1 CNC Glass Processing Center
Combines ultra-high processing speed with exceptional precision for automotive and appliance glass manufacturing — C-shape, T-shape, straight-line, and pencil grinding in a single setup.

How It Compares
HN-E 4-in-1 CNC center vs. manual edging bench vs. straight-line edger.
Hanwin HN-E 4-in-1 Center leads across Edging Precision (96), Automation (92), and Versatility (95) — the most complete formed-glass processing solution in its class.
Where It Excels
From automotive formed glass to appliance panels — one center, every edge need.
Automotive Glass
Formed Glass Edging
Automotive glass panels — sidelights, rear quarters, and sunroofs — require precise formed-edge grinding and edging. The HN-E CNC Glass Processing Center edges shaped automotive glass directly from the CNC graphics file, with straight-line, T-shape, and pencil grinding in a single setup.

Five essential practices to maintain edging accuracy, wheel life, and water circulation.
Verify the circulating water flow is above 100L/min and the pressure is 0.2–0.3MPa. Check the circular waste water collector and the sleeve-type pipe aspirator for blockages. Inspect the diamond grinding wheel for loading, glazing, or uneven wear and clean it at the end of each shift.
Use the built-in grinding wheel dresser to restore the wheel profile after a set amount of grinding. Confirm the 150mm wheel maintains the correct C-shape/T-shape geometry. Check cut-out remains in the 0.5–1.2mm range and edging tolerance stays within ≤±0.1mm.
Inspect the vacuum suction cups and their bottom vacuum fixing for leaks or wear. Reposition and re-seat cups as needed. Verify compressed air input stays at 0.6 (±0.05) MPa with 600L/Min dosage. Replace air filter elements and check the aspirator fan.
Inspect the high-speed electric spindle motor bearings and runout with a dial indicator. Check the two linear axes and rotary axis for smooth travel and backlash. Lubricate guideways and ball screws. Verify CNC graphics import and path following accuracy.
Perform a complete calibration of edging tolerance (≤±0.1mm), worktable height (1120±20mm), and grinding head speed (up to 7500 RPM). Replace grinding wheels and wear components. Verify the circulating water tank and aspirator operate at full capacity. Full safety system and CE compliance check.
Common Questions
Everything you need to know about the HN-E CNC Glass Processing Center.
The MGC-E-1308 processes glass from 400×400mm up to 1300×800mm, in thicknesses from 2mm to 6mm. It is designed for automotive and appliance glass — both square and shaped glass, with minimum acute radius of 2mm and minimum concave curve radius of 90mm.
It supports C-shape and T-shape edging, straight-line grinding, and pencil grinding — a 4-in-1 combination. The grinding wheel is 150mm in diameter and runs at 4000–7000 RPM (max 7500 RPM).
Edging tolerance is ≤±0.1mm with a cut-out of 0.5–1.2mm. The two linear motion axes and one rotary motion axis follow the CNC graphics file precisely, and the same graphics file can be shared with the cutting part so shapes stay matched between processes.
The mechanical arm places the formed glass on the grinding workbench. The vacuum suction cup then fixes the glass in place — the cup is also vacuum-fixed from the bottom of the table, so it can be repositioned freely without any tools for different glass shapes.
A circulating water device cools the grinding point at a flow rate greater than 100L/min with a pressure of 0.2–0.3MPa. An exquisite circular waste water collector around the wheel, with a powerful fan/aspirator through a sleeve-type pipe, returns the water to an intermediate tank for reuse.
'4 in 1' refers to the combination of processing capabilities in a single CNC center — C-shape edging, T-shape edging, straight-line grinding, and pencil grinding — for automotive and appliance glass, replacing four separate machines with one compact processing center.
