Capabilities

Six Functions. One Machine.

The most versatile glass processing platform — replacing multiple dedicated machines with a single CNC cycle.

6-in-1 Multi-Function CNC

Drill, mill, edge, bevel, engrave, and free-form cut in a single CNC cycle — no need to move glass between machines. One setup, one program, one cycle. Reduces handling, eliminates alignment errors, and cuts total processing time by 40–60%.

BT40 11kW / 12,000rpm Spindle

Industrial BT40 taper spindle with 11kW power and 12,000rpm maximum speed. Hydraulic tool clamping, water cooling, and automatic tool balancing deliver consistent performance across all operations — from delicate engraving to heavy bevel grinding.

Automatic 8–12 Position Tool Changer

The automatic tool changer (ATC) holds 8–12 tools and switches between them in under 5 seconds. Each tool is shrink-fitted with hydraulic clamping for maximum rigidity. No manual tool changes — the machine handles the entire tool sequence autonomously.

2700×7300mm Vacuum Chuck Table

The largest table in its class — 2700×7300mm working area with 6–8 zone vacuum chuck. Porous rubber mat provides uniform hold-down without marking. Adjustable vacuum force per zone for thin or fragile glass. Full surface access with no mechanical clamp interference.

PC-Based Windows HMI

15" touchscreen with Windows-based graphical interface. Import DXF/DWG files directly, visualize toolpaths in 3D, simulate cycles before cutting, and store 999+ job presets. Conversational programming for quick manual input. Remote diagnostics via Ethernet.

Ball-Screw Servo Axis System

Precision ball-screw drives on X/Y/Z axes with absolute encoders and Yaskawa/Fuji AC servo motors. ±0.05mm positioning, ±0.02mm repeatability, rapid traverse up to 40m/min. Zero-return on power-up — no homing sequence required.

What It Processes

From curtain walls to appliance glass — one machine handles it all.

Architectural Curtain Wall

Full-Panel Processing

Curtain wall glass requires holes for spider fittings, milled slots for hinge pockets, beveled edges for aesthetic joints, and engraved logos — all on panels up to 2700×7300mm. The CNC Working Center executes all operations in one cycle, eliminating the need to move glass between drilling, milling, edging, and beveling stations.

Maintenance

Keep It Running

Five essential maintenance practices to maximize spindle life, vacuum performance, and axis accuracy.

Check spindle runout using a dial indicator (max 0.005mm). Inspect coolant level, concentration, and flow rate. Clean spindle taper and tool shank with alcohol wipes. Check all tool holders for damage or wear. Verify coolant chiller temperature (18–22°C). Clean dust extraction ports and filters.

Test vacuum chuck holding force across all zones — each zone must hold minimum 0.06MPa. Inspect vacuum pump oil level and filter. Check X/Y/Z axis ball-screw backlash using a dial indicator (max 0.01mm). Lubricate all linear guides with specified grease. Clean the porous rubber table mat.

Cycle the automatic tool changer through all positions — verify smooth operation and correct tool detection. Inspect tool holder taper for wear. Run the CNC calibration routine: verify ±0.05mm positioning accuracy at 4 corner positions and center. Update axis compensation values if needed. Backup all job presets.

Inspect all ball-screw bearings for play. Check linear guide pre-load. Verify servo motor encoder feedback. Test emergency stop and safety interlock systems. Inspect compressed air system — replace filters and check regulator. Verify vacuum pump performance against specification.

Full machine calibration using laser measurement system (Renishaw or equivalent). Verify positioning accuracy, repeatability, and squareness on all axes. Replace ball-screw nuts if backlash exceeds 0.02mm. Rebuild vacuum pump. Full electrical inspection. Replace coolant and recharge system. CE safety compliance audit.

FAQ

Common Questions

Everything you need to know about the CNC Glass Working Center.

Six core functions in one machine: drilling (Ø4–50mm), milling (slots, pockets, profiles), straight and profile edging, bevel grinding (3–45°), surface engraving, and free-form cutting (curved and complex shapes). All can be executed in a single CNC program cycle without manual intervention between operations.

The standard model handles up to 2700×3600mm. The Professional and Enterprise models support up to 2700×7300mm — the largest working area in its class. The vacuum chuck table has 4–8 independently controlled zones to secure glass of any size within the working area.

The 8–12 position automatic tool changer (ATC) stores all tools needed for a complete processing cycle. The CNC controller selects the correct tool for each operation, swaps it in under 5 seconds, and continues. Tools are shrink-fitted with hydraulic clamping for maximum rigidity. No manual tool changes required.

Yes — the Windows HMI accepts DXF, DWG, and G-code files directly via USB, network, or barcode scan. The controller automatically recognizes holes, edges, bevels, engravings, and cut-outs from the DXF geometry and generates optimized toolpaths. Manual teach and conversational programming are also available.

±0.05mm positioning accuracy and ±0.02mm repeatability across the full table area. This is achieved through precision ball-screw drives, absolute encoders, and Yaskawa/Fuji AC servo motors on all three axes. The machine performs automatic zero-return on power-up — no homing sequence needed.

The Standard has 8 tool positions, manual loading, and a 2700×3600mm table. The Professional adds 12 tool positions, auto-loading conveyor, larger 2700×7300mm table, and Yaskawa servo motors. The Enterprise includes all Professional features plus barcode job selection, ERP integration, CCD camera positioning, and full production line integration.
