3A molecular sieve has a precisely controlled pore size (3 angstroms) that adsorbs water molecules while excluding larger molecules. It provides stronger, more selective moisture adsorption and is the industry-standard desiccant for IG spacer bar filling.
Use 1.0–1.5mm beads for conventional spacer bar filling. Use 0.5–0.9mm beads for narrow spacer profiles or automated filling equipment that requires finer bead flow.
Molecular sieve adsorbs moisture from the air, so opened containers should be resealed promptly and used within a short window to maintain full adsorption capacity.
