Horizontal Glass Washing
& Drying Machine
Spotless glass, every pass, every time. Self-adjusting brushes, dual air-knife drying, closed-loop water — production-line washing at up to 10m/min for coated, Low-E, and uncoated glass.
How It Works
Eight stages from dirty glass infeed to spot-free dry outfeed — self-adjusting brushes, dual air knives.
Spotless. Every Pass.
Self-adjusting brushes, dual air knives, closed-loop water — production-line cleaning for every glass type.
Self-Adjusting Brush System
All brush sets automatically adjust to glass thickness from 3–19mm — no manual changeover, no gap adjustment. The spring-loaded brush arms maintain consistent pressure across the full glass width, ensuring uniform cleaning on every panel regardless of thickness.
Dual Air-Knife Drying
Precision copper or stainless-steel air knives on both front and rear faces blast the glass with filtered, pressurized air — delivering complete drying in a single pass. Air pressure independently adjustable per knife. The glass exits spot-free and ready for tempering, laminating, or insulating.
Low-E & Coated Glass Safe
Soft nylon or polyester brush sets are specifically designed for coated, Low-E, and online-coated glass surfaces. The controlled brush pressure and speed prevent scratching, coating damage, or surface marking — even on the most sensitive soft-coat Low-E glass.
Closed-Loop Water System
The self-circulating water system filters, recirculates, and reuses water across all zones — reducing water consumption by 60% compared to single-pass systems. Dual-stage filtration (50μm + 10μm) maintains water clarity. Automatic water level control and overflow protection.
PLC + Touchscreen Control
PLC-controlled with 7" or 10" touchscreen HMI. Independently adjust brush speed per zone, water temperature, conveyor speed, air-knife pressure, and detergent dosing. Store presets for different glass types (float, Low-E, coated, tempered). One-touch recipe recall.
Production Line Integration
Designed for seamless integration into insulating glass lines, laminating lines, and tempering furnace feed systems. Infeed and outfeed conveyors synchronize with upstream and downstream equipment. Optional barcode reader for automatic recipe selection.

What It Washes
From IG lines to tempering furnaces — spot-free glass for every downstream process.
Insulating Glass (IG) Lines
Pre-Temper / Pre-IGU Washing
Insulating glass units require perfectly clean, dry glass before assembly — any residue, dust, or moisture trapped between panes causes visual defects and reduces thermal performance. The Horizontal Washer delivers spot-free glass at line speed (up to 10m/min) for high-volume IG production.

Five essential maintenance practices to maximize brush life, water quality, and drying performance.
Inspect all brush sets for wear, bristle damage, or loading. Clean brush surfaces with clean water at end of shift. Check conveyor roller alignment and belt tension. Verify brush gap adjustment is functioning correctly. Clean air-knife tips with compressed air.
Check water tank levels and top up as needed. Clean the 50μm and 10μm filter elements. Inspect water pump pressure and flow rate. Check detergent dosing pump calibration. Verify water temperature readings against thermometer. Drain and flush water tank if water appears cloudy.
Inspect air-knife tips for damage, deposits, or unevenness. Clean air-knife gap with solvent. Check blower motor current draw. Inspect air filter (replace if clogged). Verify air pressure regulator settings. Check conveyor drive motor and gearbox oil level.
Measure brush diameter — replace if less than 80% of original. Check brush motor current draw. Verify brush speed matches HMI setting. Calibrate water temperature sensors. Inspect all electrical connections. Test emergency stop and overflow protection systems.
Complete water system flush and descaling. Replace all brush sets. Inspect and service water pump seals. Replace conveyor belt if worn. Full electrical inspection. Recalibrate PLC sensors. CE safety compliance audit. Blower motor bearing service.
Common Questions
Everything you need to know about the Horizontal Glass Washing & Drying Machine.
Yes — the machine is fully compatible with Low-E, online-coated, offline-coated, and painted glass. Soft nylon or polyester brush sets are specifically designed to clean coated surfaces without scratching, marking, or damaging the coating. Brush pressure and speed are independently adjustable per zone.
The standard model handles up to 2500mm wide glass. The Professional and Enterprise models support up to 3000mm wide panels. The conveyor system and brush sets automatically accommodate any width within the maximum — no manual adjustment needed.
The closed-loop water system recirculates water across all zones, reducing consumption by 60% compared to single-pass systems. Typical consumption is 200–500 liters per shift (8 hours) depending on glass volume. The dual-stage filtration system maintains water clarity for extended periods.
Yes — the machine is designed for seamless integration into insulating glass lines, laminating lines, and tempering furnace feed systems. Infeed and outfeed conveyors synchronize with upstream and downstream equipment via PLC communication. Optional barcode reader enables automatic recipe selection.
The dual air-knife system delivers complete, spot-free drying in a single pass at line speed (up to 10m/min). The 5.5–11kW blower system blasts filtered, pressurized air (0.2–0.4 MPa) across both front and rear glass faces. Optional HEPA filtration for optical-quality drying.
